Mrs. Sallie F. Bamberger, 56, died at seven o'clock last night in Flintville, following a two weeks illness. Her husband, Alvin, preceded her in death five years ago. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elias Gerhart, of Jonestown and a member of Kimmerling's Reformed church. She leaves to survive two sisters, Mrs. Clara Heffelfinger, of Myerstown, Route 2; Mrs. Cora Johnson, of Palm Beach, Florida, and a brother, Elias H. Gerhart, of Jonestown. Mrs. Bamberger was widely known in the community and in Lebanon having attended the Lebanon market for a number of years. [Lebanon Semi Weekly News, Novermber 25, 1936, Page 5]
