BIO: Dorothy, his older sister practically raised him by herself during his very early years. Harry Warren Seiler preferred to be called, Warren. He was born in Chicago and lived at 2234 Berwyn Avenue, Chicago, Illinois. Moved to 3010 Covert Road, Glenview, Illinois in 1959. In 1969 he and his family moved to 667 S Middleton Avenue Palatine Illinois, and from there he and his wife moved to 1307 Inverrary Lane Palatine Illinois. His final move by himself was to 301 Apartment B Wild Rose Lane Brownsville, Texas. Warren's life was not an easy life. His father Harry Joseph Seiler passed away just after he was born leaving his mother Jennie to fend for herself. Money was a problem in those days, but somehow they eeked out an existence and he was able to grow up at 2234 Berwyn Avenue. After getting over Scarlet/Reumatic (?) fever at the age of about 8-10 years old ...the first day while climbing a fence, he fell and broke his left arm. It never healed correctly, and it was always bent at an odd angle. Later in life about 1965, he contracted Krohns Disease and went through 3 surgeries. He worked a number of sales jobs in his life starting from when he was a young boy selling vegetables right out of his wagon. When he left the Navy he started selling for a company in Chicago called CTR Incorporated. CTR stood for Cutting Tool Requirements (a machine tool company). He sold cutting tools to the steel mills and to machine shops. Warren was a salesman's salesman. It was said he could sell refrigerators to Eskimo's. He was a sales manager of CTR. Eventually he started a company called Winslow Northwest, Inc. in the early 70's. It was a beauty supply company, and he did most of the sales and other duties. Along with his wife Katherine and his son, he stayed in business for over 13 years. When he moved to South Texas, he sold Winslow Northwest and started another beauty supply company in Brownsville Texas called Winslow Rio Grande. The sports he played were Softball and Tennis. He played semi professional softball, and later played Bleachers softball at Winnemac Park in Chicago Illinois. Tennis was his lifelong sport that he took up at the age of 38, in Chicago. He won many awards and trophies. He always provided for his family, and never had a bad word to say to anyone. He was a stickler for details and had many friends. He did like to "kid-around" a lot.
