Henry Coble, 89, retired state highway employee, died Saturday in Bermath's Nursing Home.
Born Feb. 10, 1879 at West Bend, Ind., he first came to Ellensburg in 1908. Later he lived in Burley, Idaho, returning to Ellensburg in 1928.
He was married Feb. 1, 1917 at Lancaster, Pa., to Anna M. Khunes, who preceded him in death Jan. 27th, 1961 in Ellensburg. The family home was at 509 N. Kittitas. Mr. Coble retired from the highway department in 1951.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews and cousins including Dan Casey, Mrs. Elsie Giddings, Mrs. Alta Fisher and Mrs. Dalia Longmire, all of Ellensburg.
