John H. Adams
Tifton, Ga., July 7.-Funeral services were held at Hickory Spring (sic) church, near here, Wednesday afternoon, for John H. Adams, who died at the home of a daughter, near Ty Ty, Tuesday afternoon. Born in Forsyth county in 1861 (sic-1860), he had been in this section of the state about 25 years, working as carpenter and farming. Mr. Adams had been in ill health for some time and was taken critically ill Saturday of pneumonia. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. W. A. Ross, Ty Ty; George and Henry Adams and Mrs. W. M. Capps, Waycross; J. P. Adams, Brunswick; F. N. and H. E. Adams, Orlando, Fla.; Mrs. George Leighty, Cocoa, Fla.; Mrs. Era Wagner, Covington, Okla.; Albert Adams, Boston, Mass.; Hobart Adams, Camp Anniston, Ala.; Claude Adams, Nashville and Tom Adams; two brothers, Rice Adams, San Francisco, Cal., and Wilse (sic-James Wilson) Adams, of Atlanta. Mrs. Adams died 23 years ago.
