Ronell E. Alsup, age 49, of Joliet, IL, died Thursday, October 5, 2000 at Silver Cross Hospital, Joliet, IL.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy and fought in the Vietnam War. He was also a correctional officer at Statesville until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife Priscilla Alsup, three daughters, one son and nine grandchildren.
Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, October 12, 2000 at the Minor-Morris Funeral Home, 112 Richards St., Joliet, IL.
Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, in Elwood, IL. following services.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 11, 2000, 5-7 P.M. and Thursday at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
