Services for Helen Albee, 67, of 2015 W Stolley Park Road will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Gollaher Chapel in Trinity United Methodist Church. The Rev. William Doran will officiate. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 4-9 p.m. at Apfel-Butler-Geddes Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the church.
Mrs. Albee was born June 30, 1916, at Grand Island, the daughter of Henry and Augusta Marth Husen. She received her education in Hall County and was a 1934 graduate of Alda High School. After graduation she worked in Alda and Grand Island.
On Aug. 18, 1940, she married Harold Albee in Grand Island. They made their home here.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist and had taught Sunday school there. She also was a member of the Liederkranz Ladies Society, the United Commercial Travelers and the Cosmo-Pals.
Survivors at the time of death included her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Greg (Judy) Bartling of New Martinsville, W. Va., and Mrs. Rodney (Nina) Skeen of Wood River; four grandchildren, Sherri, David, Russel and Steven Skeen; two brothers, William Husen (NOTE: should read Alfred F. Husen). of Wood River and William Husen of Grand Island.
