George William Call was born 11 December 1872 in Willard, Box Elder, Utah. He was 9th of the 11 children born to Omer and Sarah Marie Ferrin Call. Siblings are: Omer Samuel (1857-1930), Sally Agnes (1858-1955), Cyril Josiah (1860-1940), Fanny Manervia (1862-1863), Albert Jarius (1864-1931), Nancy Ann (1866-1881), Anson Heber (1868-1885), Lydia Jane (1869-1936), Elihu (1873-1929) and Sarah Elenor (1880-1880). He also had 11 half-siblings. Justin David (1868-1922), Mary Lucina (1869-1869), Cyrus John (1871-1885), Joseph (1872-1878), Sarah Eliza (1875-1970), Benjamin Carlos (1877-1962), Esther (1879-1959), William Vosco(1881-1957), Margaret Elenor (1883-1941), Chauncy Homer (1884-1893) and Waldemar Alma (1889-1948).
He was married to Clara Louise Sayer on 29 Nov 1892. They were the parents of one son: William Lester Call (1894-1895). George and Clara were only married 2 1/2 years when Clara died on 9 April 1895, followed in September of the same year by the death of their son, William. On the 28th of November 1895, George married Caroline Johnson in Willard, Box Elder, Utah. They were the parents of two daughters: Ora May and Caroline Erma Call. George was to lose a 2nd wife as Caroline died 6 February 1907. George's sister Sally Cordon took care of the two little girls for her brother until George married Alma Margaret Zeitler sometime around 1914. They were the parents of two daughters: Laura and Gloria Margaret. After Laura was born, the family moved to Denver, Colorado where George was working as a salesman for an Oil Company. They later moved to St. Louis, Missouri where Alma's family lived. The 1930 Census record shows George, Alma and their 2 daughters living with Alma's widowed father John F Zeitler. George suffered a paralytic stroke at the age of 57 years and on 22 August 1930 he passed away at the Jewish Hospital in St. Louis City, Missouri and was buried the 25 August 1930 in Calvary Cemetery, St. Louis City, Missouri.

Word was received here Friday of the death of George Call, at St. Louis which occurred Thursday night. Mr. Call was a brother of C.J. [Cyril Josiah] and Albert Call and Mrs. George A. [Sally] Cordon of Rigby and Mrs. Lydia Barrow of Gridley, California. Mr. Call had been ill for some time, following a paralytic stroke. Funeral services were held at St. Louis [on] Monday.

3rd wife was Alma M Zeitler. She was the daughter of John F. & Laura Zeitler. After George died, Alma married Frank Joseph Vieth on June 13, 1936.
