Coy Edward Camp, 83, of Star City, Arkansas, died April 4, 2003 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

He was born September 6, 1919, At Sherrill,(Jefferson County), Arkansas to the late Will Camp and Ida Lillian Wilson Camp.

He served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, at Glendale, (Lincoln County), Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ardell Lunsford Camp and one daughter Lillie Bell Camp, and his parents Will and Ida Lillian Wilson Camp.

Survivors include three sons, Marvin W. Camp of Star City, Arkansas, Havis Camp, of Dumas, Arkansas, Ricky Camp, of Lincoln Nebraska; five daughters; Marcille Camp Runion of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Ida Bell Camp McTigrit of Dumas, Arkansas, Brenda Coasts of Star City, Arkansas and Linda Camp Carrington and Twila Camp McTigrit, both of Monticello, Arkansas, one sister; Helen Camp Short of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; and 24 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday night at Griffin Funeral Home in Star City, Arkansas.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, at Griffin Funeral Services at Star City, Arkansas, with Roy Phillips and Mike Powell officiating.

Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery (Lincoln County), Glendale, Arkansas.
