Funeral Friday For Mrs. Samuel Aurand
Mrs. Sarah Francis Aurand, 85, of 503 W. Foulke Ave., died at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Marvin Schwab, 1300 Amelia Ave. Death was caused by a complication of diseases. She had been bedfast for 21 months.
Mrs. Aurand was born Sept. 6, 1869 in Jackson County, the daughter of John and Eliza Timberman. She moved to Findlay from Paulding County in 1915.
She was married to Samuel Aurand April 19, 1890. Mr. Aurand died Sept. 5, 1939.
Surviving are five daughters and one son. They are Mrs. A. T. (Dora) Mathews and Mrs. Frank (Goldie) Mathews, both of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; Mrs. Clair (Ethel) Rose and Charles Aurand, Fostoria; Mrs. Clyde (Ida) Rose and Mrs. Marvin (Methel) Schwab, Findlay. One daughter, Mrs. Anna Hart, is deceased.
Two brothers, Tom and Emerson Timberland, and two sisters, Ella Love and Phoebe Pierce, are deceased.
Mrs. Aurand was a member of the East Foulke Avenue Church of God.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the East Foulke Avenue Church of God, the Revs. L. E. Thomas and Edward H. Runyan officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
The body is at the Coldren Funeral Home where friends may call until Friday noon.
