Bobbie Gene Agard, 69, Beatty, died Nov. 7, 1999, in Klamath Falls. Cause of death was not given.

Mr. Agard was born in Eureka, Kansas to Roy and Helen (Fletcher) Agard. He was also raised there.

He entered in the Navy in 1950 and served through the Korean War until honorably discharged in 1954. He was the recipient of numerous medals.

He then began a career as a heavy duty mechanic in the San Francisco Bay area, working for PG&E for 20 years before being self employed for another 25 years.

During that time, he lived in Missoula, Mont., then in Beatty since 1970.

He married his wife, Patricia in San Pablo, Calif., on Aug 4, 1951.

Mr. Agard enjoyed fishing, especially on the Blackfoot River, and loved his dog, Cody.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Agard of Beatty; children, Timothy "Roy" Agard and Vickie and Dean Mundy of Klamath Falls and Rickey and Lisa Agard of Missoula; 23 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
