Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church, 2101 S. Davis Drive, Arlington, the Rev. Coy Quesenbury and the Rev. Jerry Phillips officiating. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
B.P. was born Aug. 20, 1921, near Wills Point to Eulis and Jennie Mae Wilson Kennedy. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a private first class. B.P. married Peggy Davis on Nov. 23, 1949, at Elwood Baptist Church near Wills Point. He had been a resident of Arlington since 1958 and was longtime member, deacon and treasurer at Calvary Baptist Church. He retired from General Motors after 29 years of service. He worked as a farmer for many years in the Elwood community near Wills Point. B.P. enjoyed camping and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors: Wife, Peggy Kennedy; son, John B. Kennedy and wife, Lisa; daughters, Amy K. Kennedy and Susan B. Fuller and husband, Ron, all of Arlington; grandchildren, Tiffany, Ben and Michael; and grandchildren by love, Misty and Kevin.
