Vicki Hiar age 55 of Grand Rapids and formerly of Carp Lake died late Sunday evening April 4,2010 at the Mackinac Straits Hospital Health Care Center in St Ignace.
Vicki was born in Cheboygan June 17, 1954 the daughter of George E. Hiar and the late Jean Louise (Schmalzried) Hair. She graduated from Pellston Highschool in 1974. Vicki was employed for many years at Villa Elizabeth Medical Facility in Grand Rapids. Her love for people lead her to become involved in many Charities and Organizations.
Vicki is survived by her parents George and Peggy Hiar of Carp Lake. Sisters and brothers; Georgia Litzner of Cheboygan, Dixie Fyke of Carp Lake, Edwin (Kathy) Hiar of Mackinaw City, Jerry Hiar of Levering, Ronald Hiar of Carp Lake, Katheryn Hiar of Pellston, Jamie (Marie) Hiar of Mackinaw City, Michelle Ranville of Levering, James Scoon of Carp Lake, Micheal Scoon of Carp Lake and Marshall Scoon of Carp Lake, a very special friend Andrew Swanson and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her late mother Jean ( Schmalzried) Hiar
Private gravside services are being planed with burial in Carp Lake Twp. Cemetery. Nordman Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
