NATHAN BARLOW
Thursday night, August 17, near Edray, Nathan Barlow, Esq. aged 77 years died. Mr. Barlow was a well known citizen, and for much of his life was prominent in county affairs. He merchandised and farmed, served a term in the West Virginia House of Delegates, and was a justice of the peace for many terms. He was a devout member of the church from his youth. The latter years of his life were attended with much bodily discomfort from lingering and painful attacks of illness, all of which he endured with becoming patience and submission.
