MRS. LOUISA LAMB IS LAID TO REST
BODY OF FORMER RESIDENT IS BROUGHT FROM CALIFORNIA FOR BURIAL
Mrs. Louisa J. Lamb, formerly of Hannibal, Mo., died in Venice, Calif., Jan., 1918. In obedience to her wish, the body was brought to Hannibal for interment beside her deceased husband, Dr. Charles J. Lamb, in the family lot in Riverside cemetery.
A number of her friends assembled at the Union station, Wednesday afternoon last, and upon the arrival of the train, the remains were taken to the cemetery. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. John Davis, D. D., of the Episcopal church. The pallbearers were C. T. Lamb, A. C. RoBards, H. K. Logan, C. M. Fette, A. W. Hogg.
Mrs. Lamb was a daughter of ex-Gov. Claibourne F. Jackson of Missouri, and is survived by a son and daughter, Claib Lamb, and Mrs. George Johnson, of Venice, Calif. Mrs. Lamb was well and favorably known by the older citizens of this city and for many years was a faithful and devoted member of Park Methodist church, south.
