Ann Maria Brinley HAUPT was the daughter of
• John Henry HAUPT (1780-1859) & his second wife,
• Ann Maria BRINLEY WISNER (1795-1840) of South Carolina.

In 1850, she was married to Henry L. S. BUNTZ by the minister of Trinity Methodist Church. They were the parents of two children (who married PORTER siblings):
• Henry Clarkson BUNTZ (1852-1902), who, in 1887, married Elizabeth I. PORTER (1865-1934), and
• Mary Ann Lucretia BUNTZ (1857-1891), who, in 1886, married John K. PORTER (born about 1857).

In the Savannah City Directory of 1882 (Sholes), she is listed as "Buntz, Annie wid H. E., r ns Henry, 2d w of Whitaker"

Abstract from Laurel Grove Cemetery Keepers Book: Annie M. BUNTZ died the 14th of November, 1885, and was buried on the 16th in Lot 167. She was a native of Georgia, aged 51 years, and a resident of South Broad & Floyd Streets.
