Anthony Paul Barefoot, 48, of Erwin died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006, at his home.
The Hampton, Va., native was a son of the late Charles Odell and Pauline Guy Barefoot. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Barefoot was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Barefoot Massengill.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Skinner & Smith Funeral Home by the Rev. Randy Anderson. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery with military honors.
Survivors include a son, Paul Barefoot of Hinesville, Ga.; daughters, Crystal Barefoot of Hinesville and Jennifer Barefoot of Apex; a stepson, Matthew Drake of Hinesville; brothers, Charles Guy Barefoot and Curtis Odell Barefoot, both of Dunn, and David Ray Barefoot of Erwin; and a grandson, Ashton Drake.
