The story goes that Louise Bottcher was with her sister, Maggie, early one fall day when their automobile had a flat tire within a half-mile of home. While changing the flat, Louise felt faint and passed out. Maggie ran to the neighbors for help, but, tragically, Louise was dead when they all arrived back at the car.
