Mrs. Anderson was born Feb. 15, 1936, at Alliance to James Richard and Ethel Alverta (Snyder) Carson.

On March 25, 1954, she was united in marriage to Robert E. "Bob" Anderson at the Zion Lutheran Church in Kearney. He preceded her in death.

Survivors of the immediate family include three daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Larry Uden of Kenesaw, Christy and Keith Peterson of Ord and Jenny and Brian Scribner of David City; a brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Shirley Carson of Elsmere; and a sister and brother-in-law, Juanna Beth and Keith Lewis of Darlington, Idaho.

Survivors of the immediate family include nine grandchildren, Daniel, Rachel, Hannah and Rebekah Uden, all of Kenesaw, Sarah, Katie, Megan and Robbie Peterson, all of Ord and Carson Scribner of David City.

She was the oldest of four children and spent her first six years on a cattle ranch near Lewellen. In 1942, her family moved to a ranch in southwestern Brown County, near Elsmere. Bonnie attended grade school and summer Bible school in a one-room school house, a mile from her home. In 1953, Bonnie graduated from Broken Bow High School. She worked for Ted Houston, a Broken Bow attorney. Bonnie worked as a legal secretary for law firms in Omaha, St. Louis and Youngstown, Ohio, from 1954-1957. While living in Youngstown, Bonnie was baptized at the First Lutheran Church on Nov. 21, 1956. In 1957, she moved to back to her parent's ranch near Elsmere while her husband, Bob was stationed in Canada. The couple then farmed near Merna for a short time. In 1959, the family moved to Ogalalla and in 1960, to Omaha where Bonnie concentrated her efforts on being a wife, mother, church secretary and professional typist.

Bonnie and her family moved to Ord in 1966, where she enjoyed oil painting with any free time she had. In 1972, she and Bob opened Anderson's Pharmacy and Hallmark Store. Bonnie was involved in retail management and held fond memories of her employees and customers.

Bonnie had a special love and talent for music. She taught her husband and daughters to sing harmony and play the guitar and mandolin. She enjoyed playing her six-string and bass guitars with her family and many musical friends.

After Bob's death in 1997, Bonnie worked for one year at Anderson's Pharmacy before retiring in 1998. She continued to make music and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and good friend, Dick Beran.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church where she enjoyed teaching the primary Sunday School classes for many years.

Bonnie will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, James Richard Carson, Jr.
