Dorothy L. "Dot" Hayberger, 62, of Biglerville, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2003, at her home. She was the wife of George D. Hayberger for 39 years.
Born Jan. 12, 1941, in Biglerville, she was the daughter of Roy Kuykendall of Biglerville and the late Maybelle (Lupp) Kuykendall.
She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Biglerville. She worked at Wellspan Pharmacy in Biglerville before her illness.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Gettysburg Moose and Ladies Auxiliary of Biglerville Fire Co. She was treasurer of Biglerville High School Alumni Association.
Surviving also are one son, Scott A. Hayberger of Biglerville; one daughter, Georgia A. Straner of Biglerville; three grandchildren; five sisters, Freda Redding of Biglerville, Chris Gantz of Littlestown, Jeanne Myers of New Oxford, Betty Lou Patterson and Ann Barbour, both of Biglerville; and three brothers, Roy I. Kuykendall of Biglerville, Glenn Kuykendall of Gettysburg and Steven Kuykendall of Fairfield.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, with the Rev. Judith Guasch officiating. Burial will be in Biglerville Cemetery. A viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
