He was born July 31, 1894 in Boltenville, WI, the son of the late Julius and Bertha Frohman.
On March 8, 1919 Reuben was united in marriage to Ethel Romain in Kewaskum. She preceded him in death on March 14, 1974.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during World War I.
Survivors include one daughter, Marjorie (Howard) Bohlman, Birnamwood; two sons, Claude, Wautoma and James, Mauston; one sister, Lela Dettmann, Green Bay; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Russell and one sister, LaVerne.
Funeral services were held December 20, 1981 at the First Congregational Church, Birnamwood. The Rev. Ted Engstrom and Rev. Ray VanBeek officiated. Interment was in Forest Cemetery, Birnamwood.
