Her father was Charles Jungblom born September 1854 in Sweden. He died 1 August 1937 Concrete, Skagit Co, WA. Her mother was Hannah ( ) Jungblom born November 1861 in Sweden. He immigrated in 1881 and she immigrated in 1882. They were married about 1888. Esther was the fourth in a family of nine children. In 1901 her parents homestead a farm south of Lind, Adams County, WA.

She married Carl Kaufmann Taylor December 1912. They moved to the Harrington area in 1928 and Esther was widowed in June of 1955.

She married second Ernest Cronrath 9 October 1960 Spokane, Spokane County, Washington. They had been friends since grade school.

She was a member of Harrington's Bright Hope Chapter of Eastern Star and was one of the first cooks at the Harrington High School. In 1976, Esther moved to Coeur d'Alene to live with her daughter, Edythe. While there she had a heart attack and was taken to the Kootenai Memorial Hospital in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. She died six days later.
