Kelly Wayne Floyd, 80, of Gun Barrel City died Friday, April 2, 2010, at East Texas Medical Center in Athens.

Funeral services are set for noon Tuesday, April 6, in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Hutchison officiating. Burial follows in Shady Grove Cemetery.

The family receives friends from 11 a.m. until service time prior to the service. Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.

He was born Jan. 5, 1930, to Earl Kelly and Lillian Floyd. He was the last child of 10 siblings that were born and raised in the local area. He worked in construction, automobile sales and home sales prior to his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a great-grandson, Brayden Lane Foster.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Floyd of Gun Barrel City; three children, Kenneth and Lanesa Floyd of Durant, Okla., Becky and Gary Stephenson of Killeen, and Margaret and Dickie Foster of Krum; 10 grandchildren, Christy, Lisa, Julie, Joel, Britni, Derek, Rachel, Rodney, Dickie Lee and Randy; 12 great-grandchildren; and extended family members and his beloved dog, Timmy.
