Charles Ernest Appy
mentioned as born on sept 18th in 1874 was born in fact on 18th sept 1873, the mistake is probably due to the the Civil Service, they noted births in 1873 and 1874 in one book. On nov 1st in 1874 was born Gerard Cornelis Appy in Haarlem. So a birth in sept 1874 was not possible.

Ernestina Frederika Henriëtte Appy was born in [[Amsterdam]], [[7 mei]] [[1865]], she was a pianist and a pianoteacher as well. She was married to Barthold Jan Bouricius for some years

Cornelia Appy
Has a second name Eleonora, she was a famous cellist. Sousa had a high opnion of here. She has a page on Sophie Drinker Institut (german site of woman musicians.(Corry Appy)

The five mentionesdsiblings are in fact brothers and sisters of each other. They were all children of Charles Ernest Appy (named Ernst overhere and Charles in the States) and miss Sterk. Another brother of them is Henry Leonard Appy, who died in 1904 in Denver and has also a page on Finding-a Grave. Louis Erneste Appy is a brother too, he is also buried at Yakima.

Still missing are:
*Cornelis Marinus, (Amsterdam, 21 maart 1867)
*Petronella Johanna Apolonia Appy (Nelly), (Amsterdam} 17 februari 1868)
*Leonard, (Amsterdam, 25 november 1871) and
*Gerard Cornelis (Haarlem 1 november 1874)
It is possible that they died before the family went to the States.
