"Ottmar Wagner Succumbs; Rites Being Held Today
Funeral services are being held today, Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 2 p.m., in the Schaetter Funeral Home for Ottmar Wagner, 74, who died in the Wendel Rest Home on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 7 a.m.
The Rev. L. J. Durkop, pastor of the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church officiated in the rites. Burial is to be in the City Cemetery.
Wagner was born on May 5, 1882 in Blanco County, the son of Charles Wagner and Mathilda GOMBERT Wagner. His father was a native of Germany.
He is survied by two children: Loyd Wagner, Mason; and Jessie, Mrs. C. W. Bramlett, Trinidad, Texas; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are a brother, Chas. Wagner, San Antonio; and two sisters, Mrs. O. B. Petsch, Fredericksburg and Mrs. Herman Knoblauch, Fredericksburg.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Houis Hirsch; and two brothers, Alfred and Edwin Wagner."
