Kendall (Kink) George, 51, was found dead at his residence in Lovell Monday, June 26. Born Apr. 29, 1910 in Draper, Utah, he was the son of Emanuel Hammond and Matilda Jane Fitzgerald. He had been a resident of the Big Horn Basin for many years and was a former owner of Kink's cafe. He was a member of the LDS church.

Mr. George was married to Laura Dalton Feb. 10, 1935 at Cowley.

Survivors include one son, Ernest of Idaho Springs, Colo.; one daughter, Mrs. Myrna Yorgason of Jeffrey City, Wyo.; his mother, Mrs. Jane George of Salt Lake City, Utah; two brothers, Marion of Salt Lake City and Gail B. of Cowley; three sisters, Mrs. Fay Wall of LaBarge, Mrs. Vie Acton of Cowley and Mrs. Dean Dalton of Clearfield, Utah and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Cowley LDS chapel under the direction of Bishop Louis Welch.

Interment was in the Cowley cemetery with Haskell Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
