WATSEKA - Visitation for Vivian L. Sapp Bruner, 79, of Tallahassee, Fla., formerly of Watseka, will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Baier Funeral Home, Watseka, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Joseph Hughes will officiate.
Burial will be in GAR Cemetery, Watseka.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the donor's choice.
Mrs. Bruner died Saturday (Jan. 8, 2000) at Tallahassee Community Hospital.
She was born June 1, 1920, in Watseka, the daughter of Charles and Alice Nice Sapp.
Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Willard and Connie Phillips of Aikens, S.C., Dave and Linda Bruner of Tallahassee, Fla., Robert and Chris Bruner of Rossville; four daughters and sons- in-law, Alice and Bill Bridges of Bristol, Fla., Deloris and Jack Illingsworth of Mundelein, Christina and Ted Ward of Watseka, Vivian and Harry Priddy of Antioch; one sister, Sammy Sapp of Calif.; one brother, Charles Sapp Jr. of Watseka; step-son, Dave and Margo Walker of Watseka; 41 grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are one son, Daniel Bruner; one daughter, Pearl; and two sisters.
Mrs. Bruner had worked at Schumacher Factory in Hoopeston for 20 years.
