Burial will be in Chester Rural Cemetery. Friends may call this evening. Mr. Laird was a master mechanic and worked for the Crown Smelting Co. for many years until his retirement about a year ago. He was born in New Jersey. He is survived by 5 daughters, Mrs. Brogan, Miss Viola Laird, Philadelphia; Mrs. Paul K. Yundt, of Pennington, NJ.; Mrs. John Journey, of Delmar, DE., and Mrs. Elwood P. Richardson, Upland.
