Survivors are her three sons, William E. Hinson, Sr. and wife, Liz of Callao, Thomas H. Hinson and wife, Rose of Warsaw, Charles E. Hinson of Waverly; her two daughters, Charlotte H. Harper of Hague, and Edna H. Stevens and husband William of Hague; three sisters-in-law; Virgie Ambrose of Haynesville, Lorena Balderson of Warsaw, and Violet Hinson of Montross; a daughter-in-law Joann Hinson of Nomini Grove; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and her faithful companion, Snooks the cat. She was preceded in death by two sons, Carroll Junior Hinson and Walter H. Hinson.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 8, 2006 Welch Funeral Home, Montross Chapel, with interment in Menokin Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. John Thomas officiated. Pallbearers were Jamie Bell, Bobby Wilkins, William Ambrose, Randy Ambrose, Jamie Wood and Joe Ambrose, Jr.
