Mrs. Boyd was born July 28, 1949, in Rockingham County and was the daughter of Maynard E. Breeden of Elkton and Ennis (Morris) Shifflett of Elkton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Armentrout, and daughter, Kimberly Dawn Meadows.
Other than her parents survivors include her husband of 11 years, Uris Boyd; one son, Neil E. Meadows and his wife, Becky of Elkton; two daughters, Kimberly Caron and her husband, William of Harrisonburg and Erin Parker of Harrisonburg; two brothers, A. Ray Breeden and his wife, Glenda of Elkton and Larry Mitchel of Fredericksburg; and her stepmother, Cathy Breeden. She is also suvived by five grandchildren, Rebekah Meadows, Jessica, Elizabeth and Michael Caron and Noah Parker and a special stepfather, W. Kemper Shifflett.
Burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery in McGaheysville.
