Ruth Lieb, age 93, was born in Houston to Emin Erich Schmidt and Ruth Madge Witt Schmidt. She is survived by her two sons, Stephen V. Lieb and Randall E. Lieb & wife Rowena; and her daughter, Nancy Ruth Lieb, as well as one brother, three sisters, and three grandchildren. Mrs. Lieb was preceded in death by her husband of over 53 years Francis W. Lieb.
Visitation was on Friday, April 2, 2010, in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service in Houston. Graveside service on Saturday, April 3, 2010, at Woodlawn Cemetery.
