Mrs. Aaron Rice Passes Away
Death came Sunday to Mrs. Sarah Ann Rice at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Homer Vandeventer in Perry. Death was due to advanced age with complications.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Workman Funeral Home in Perry with Rev. Hile of the Church of Christ officiating. Burial was in the Rippey cemetery.
Mrs. Rice, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Pete Hull of the Angus locality, was born Nov. 22, 1870 and was married to Aaron Rice in 1889, who preceded her in death in 1901.
She is well known to many of the older residents of south Washington township, having lived there many years ago.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter and three sons.
