SAWYER -- Arnold B. Shafer, 67, of 5335 Sawyer Road, Sawyer, died Wednesday at Mercy Memorial Medical Center, St Joseph.
Family services were held Thursday afternoon at Connelly-Noble Funeral Home, Three Oaks.
Mr. Shafer was born July 5, 1923, in Buchanan. He was a. World War II Air Force veteran and had done tree nursery work.
Survivors include: three daughters -- Rexalee Ireland of Bridgman, Vicki Hauch of New Troy, and Laura Copeland of Buchanan; a sister, Bernice Schmaltz of Bridgman; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
