Bossier Parish History Center has a photocopy of the diary of Mary Ann Tabitha Dickey Vickers. It is from when she was a young woman in the years 1871, 1876/77. Mary was educated at Andrew College in Cuthbert, Georgia, graduating at the age of 19 in 1869. In 1883 she married William Marion Vickers and had four children with him.
