At the home of his son, Reuben Burget, of Juniata, Jacob B. Burget, a well known retired farmer died Wednesday evening at 9:30 o'clock. He was born at Page station on the Morrison's Cove branch, October 23, 1834, and spent nearly his whole life in that section. He was engaged in farming for many years and retired some years ago. He had resided in Juniata with his son for the past two years. The deceased was married and was preceded to the grave by his wife several years ago. He is survived by three sons, Jerry and Reuben, both of Juniata, and Martin, of Tyrone, as well as two brothers, Levi, of Martinsburg, Andrew of Fredericksburg, and a half-brother, Adam, of Page station. He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Reformed church, near Page station, for sixty years.
