Mrs. Fannie Chevraux died at her home in Danville, Kansas, January 15, from diabetes from which she had suffered for eight years. Mrs. Chevraux was Miss Fannie Bresson before her marriage, and was born in Wayne county, Ohio. Her age was 55 years, 2 months and 13 days.

She was married to Louis Chevraux, of Louisville, and resided here. In 1887 they moved to Kansas, where they have resided since, becoming prominent and prosperous citizens of Harper county. In 1888 Mr. Chevraux returned to Louisville for a visit, and during that time sickened and died.

Six children survive. They are R.P. Chevraux, who last autumn was elected county clerk of Harper county, Kansas; Miss Edith, Joseph, John and Mrs. Albert Drouhard, of Danville, Kansas, and Mrs. Sherman McDaniel, of Freeport, Oklahoma.

Funeral services were held at Danville, where interment was also made.
