BORN: December 13, 1912 in Mountain Lake, Minnesota
PARENTS: George and Tina (Olfert) Rahn.
At four years of age Martha and her family came by immigrant train to the Lustre area where her parents homesteaded. She attended the Grandview School.
July 1, 1934 Martha was married to Jacob Huebert in Lustre. They lived in Fort Peck for 4 years during the Dam construction, then moved back to Lustre and farmed and ranched. Martha enjoyed music, sewing, crocheting, gardening and farming when she could. She was a member of the Bethel "Lustre" Mennonite Church, and active in church activities. She enjoyed German cooking and was active with The Schmeckfest. Martha and Jacob moved to Glasgow in 1997 and lived at Nemont Manor for 10 years, and when Jacob needed to move to Valley View, Martha insisted on going with him, and that was in December of 2007.
Martha is survived by two sons and two daughters:
Jerry (Dorothy) Huebert of Platsmouth, Nebraska
Donald (Sue) Huebert of Canton, South Dakota
Lorraine Huebert of Glasgow
Louise (Carl) Goertzen of Beatrice, Nebraska
Brother; Abe Dyck of North Carolina
Six grandsons; Rodney Huebert, Gerald Huebert, Wayne Huebert, Andrew Huebert, Douglas Goertzen, and Jason Goertzen
Seven great grandchildren
Martha was preceded by; Sisters, Bertha Funk, Susie Tiffin and Tillie Thomas
Brother, Henry Rahn
Pastor Jay Ashbaucher was in charge of services.

GLASGOW — Martha (Rahn) Huebert, 97, a homemaker who was active in the Bethel Lustre Mennonite Church and enjoyed music, sewing, crocheting, gardening and German cooking, died of natural causes Sunday at a Glasgow hospital.
Survivors include sons Jerry Huebert of Plattsmouth, Neb., and Donald Huebert of Canton, S.D.; daughters Lorraine Huebert of Glasgow, and Louise Goertzen of Beatrice, Neb.; a brother, Abe Dyck of North Carolina; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Jacob Huebert.
