Funeral services for Grover Cleveland Alexander, 86, of 710 N. Harvey,
were at 10 a.m. today from Ed Brown and Sons Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. John Paul Jones, pastor of Borger Missionary Baptist Church officiating and the Rev. G. W. Fine, pastor of the East Side Baptist Church, assisting.
Interment will follow in Stith Cemetery in Stith, Tex. under the direction of Ed Brown and Sons Funeral Directors.
Alexander died at 12:50 p.m. Monday at North Plains Hospital.
He had been a resident of Borger since 1926. He was a native of Ellis County and was a retired realtor in Borger. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias Lodge in which he held a life membership. Survivors include four sons, G.G. of Borger, W.C. of Albuquerque, N.M., N.E. of Houston and Dr. Scottie Alexander of Fort Worth; six brothers, Sam of Mountainaire, N.M., Ed, Gordon and Lloyd, all of Abilene, Frank of Fort Worth and Jess of Chickasha, Okla.; 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
