ARNOLD JAMES CARRICO Jan. 23, 1925 - Dec. 23, 2006 - Resident of Walnut Creek Arnold J. Carrico passed away in Walnut Creek after battling Parkinson's disease for the past 18 years. A native of Petrolia, Texas, he was 81. Arnold served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He graduated from the University of Florida and achieved an MBA from Harvard University. His career as a chemical engineer began with DuPont and ended with his retirement on Oct. 1, 1986 from Bechtel Corp.- Pipeline Division. Arnold was active at San Ramon Valley United Methodist Church as well as the Bechtel Pipeliners. He is survived by his daughters Margo Cefallo of Pleasanton and Lucy Carrico of Tiburon and four grandchildren. On Dec. 26th of 1998 he was predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Harriett Margo Carrico. A Service commemorating Arnold's life will be at 3:00 PM on Friday Jan. 5, 2007 at the San Ramon Valley United Methodist Church 902 Danville Blvd. in Alamo, CA. Memorial donations to the San Ramon Valley Methodist Church are appreciated. Hull's Walnut Creek Chapel (925) 934-5400.
His cremains were buried, Jan. 5, 2007, in Alamo-Lafayette Cemetery District, Lafayette, Contra Costa Co., CA.
