Edith Flora Hodges was the daughter of Fielding Alexander Hodges and Mary Alice Rupe. She died of meningitis a few months before her 5th birthday. Her gravesite is unmarked, " . . . under the cotoneaster, which probably started from some berries her mother was known to bring from the family garden and place there . . "(Eldred & Ardis Hodges, personal communication). She was the 1st person to be buried in the Hodges plot at this cemetery.
