Mrs. Mary Bell Haley Burke, 94, 3720 Tibbs Court, Nashville, died last Sunday at Williamson County Hospital. She had been in poor health since taking a fall about two months ago and breaking her hip. Mrs. Burke was 94 years old and the widow of John F. Burke. Until about 60 years ago, the couple operated the old livery stable and hotel at Nolensville. Services were held at 2p.m. Tuesday at Waller Funeral Home in Nolensville. Officiating were the Rev. Billy Shoulders, the Rev. Bill Fletcher and Wayne Chadwell. Burial was in the Nolensville Cemetery. Mrs. Burke was a native of Hickman County. She moved to Williamson County as a child and spent most of her time in Williamson and Davidson counties. Her parents were John and Josephine Bradley Haley. Mrs. Burke was a member of Triune United Methodist Church. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Jessie Mai Sealy, Nashville; a son, Jack E. Burke, Brentwood; nine grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
