Neva Aldridge Of Queen City Dies At 58

Neva Estalene Aldridge, 58, of Queen City, died Tuesday night (Dec. 27, 1977) at her home. She had been in failing health for sometime.

The daughter of George and Hattie Erwin Yearns, she was born May 9, 1919, in Schuyler county. On Aug. 23, 1938 she was married to Lora ("Bill") Aldridge who survives. Also surviving are two children, Robert Aldridge of Lancaster and Faye Aldridge of Lancaster; one grandson and two brothers, Eugene Yearns of Lake City, Iowa and Harold Yearns of Queen City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, George Edward Aldridge and Hosea Bill Aldridge; one granddaughter and one sister, Helen Aldridge.

Mrs. Aldridge was a life-long resident of Schuyler county.

Funeral services were held this afternoon (Dec. 29, 1977) at two o'clock in the Norman Funeral Chapel in Downing. The Rev. Kenneth Campbell conducted the services. Burial was in the Crowder cemetery southwest of Downing.

Bearers were: Don Schubert, Ed McElroy, Jack Ross, Bob McElroy, Russell Bushnell and Paul Lancaster.
