CAROLINA BEACH -- Richard Lewis Jackson, 71, of 817 Canal Drive, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2003, in his home. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Price Funeral Home chapel in Erwin by the Rev. Jerome Pope. Burial will be in Erwin Memorial Park. Mr. Jackson is survived by two sons, Kenneth Jackson of Leland and Mark Jackson of Wilmington; a daughter, Carolyn J. McCrerery of Carolina Beach; two brothers, Lonnie M. Jackson of Apex and Paul Ammons of Erwin; a sister, Ella Mae Ammons of Dunn; six grandchildren; and a great- grandchild.
