Born Dec. 16, 1923, in Smoke Hole, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Virgie (Alt) Kimble. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Brooke Barger, Aug. 11, 1994.
She is survived by one daughter, Glenna M. Waldron of Maysville; four sons, Johnny C. Barger, Kenneth C. Barger, Carl E. Barger and Bobby A. Barger, all of Maysville; one sister, Rettie Barnes of Winchester, Va.; two brothers, Junior "Bud" Kimble of Maysville and Brison Kimble of Oakland, Md.; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; four stepgreat-greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Dec. 9, at the Jordan Run Union Church, with interment in Rohrbaugh Cemetery, Maysville.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Schaeffer Funeral Home, Petersburg. (12/19)
