MR. JOHN MORGAN ARNOLD, 74, years old, died at his home at Rhodelia, KY, March 14, 1964, after a long illness. He was born November 1, 1889 in Meade County the son of Sylvester Arnold and Susie (Smith) Arnold. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lula (Prather) Arnold, four sons, Leon, Robert Allen, Willie Earl & Joseph Rudolph Arnold; three daughters, Mrs. Lula May Poole, Miss Nannie Lee Arnold and Mrs. Ella Bell Bennett; 29 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren, and one brother, Alvey Arnold of Stephensport, KY. Two children preceded him in death. Funeral services were held March 17th, 10 a.m. in the chapel of Sturgeon Funeral Home, conducted by Father Arthur Grottenhaler. Burial was in New Highland Cemetery, directed by Sturgeon Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Bobby, Jimmy, Jodie & Harold Arnold and Virgil Hayes.
