Bernadette Bernice Cantua died at her home in Claremont, NH on May 2, 1998. She was born in Oak Park, IL on November 2, 1945; the daughter of Edward R and Bernice (Peck) Bostrom.

She lived in Claremont for the past thirty years and previously lived in the Rutland, VT area.

She married Richard Lewis Bent on March 6, 1945 in Shelburne, VT who preceded her in death.

She married Raymond F Cantua on May 28, 1994.

She was a machine operator at Tambrands Inc for twenty eight and one half years, retiring because of disability in 1995. She was a communicant of St Joseph's Church. She was a member of the Women of the Moose.

She is survived by her husband of Claremont; one daughter Theresa Linn Bozogan of Claremont; one son Richard Lewis Bent Jr of Atlana, GA; four stepchildren Brad Cantua of Livermore, CA, Penny Cantua of Fitzwilliam, NH, Jeanne Hamilton of Seaside, CA and Judith Golden of Keene, NH; two grandchildren; one brother Edward P Bostrom of Wallingford, VT; one sister Diane Grover of Colorado Springs, CO; and nieces and nephews.

Burial is in Union cemetery.
