Marcella Yewell Ozburn of Blue Springs, Jackson County, Missouri, formerly of Clinton, died Sunday, September 22, 2002 in Independence. Graveside services were held on September 26 at Englewood Cemetery in Clinton. Marcella was born to Charles H. and Lavina Collins Yewell on October 9, 1925 in Henry County. She married Robert Glenn Ozburn on September 4, 1956. She was employed as a sales clerk for Harzfeld's in Kansas City, which specialized in women's and children's high-end apparel, and for John Williams Pharmacy in Independence. Marcella was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter Sandra Moritz, sister Evelyn Ross, and brother Dallas Yewell. She is survived by grandson Aaron, two granddaughters, Lavette and Marnette, and five great-grandchildren.
