Funeral Of Charles H. Haring, Father Of Fond du Lac Residents, At Waupaca (Wis).
Several from this city attended funeral services at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Waupaca for Charles H. Haring, 75, of that place, native of Beaver Dam, father of Oscar and Kenneth Haring of this city, who died Wednesday at the home. Military rites were conducted.
Among Fond du Lac persons attending were Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Haring and family, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Haring and family, Ned and Emeral Haring, George Maurice, Mrs. Josephine Morris, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Maruice, Miss Lucille Fitzgerald, Mrs. Pearl Swalby, George Pierce and William Walsh of this city.
Born Oct 13, 1860, Mr. Haring served with Co. K, 1st Colorado Infantry in the Philippine Islands during the Spanish American war.
Surviving are his two sons, eight grandchildren; four brothers, Miles of Escanaba, and Delbert of Sioux City, Mich (?), and Emeral and Ned of this city and two sisters, Mrs. Heino K. Anderson (Lulu)of Kenton, Mich., and Mrs. William L. Brown (Flora) of Escanaba, Mich.
