HOUSTON - Gaynell Ruth Taylor, 89, died Sunday, March 28, 2010, at Shearer-Richardson Memorial Nursing Home in Okolona. She was born Jan. 25, 1921, in Eudora, Ark. to Wyatt Pickler and Ethel Bass Pickler. She was retired from Ceramic Tile in Houston and also worked as a sales associate at Wal Mart in Houston.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 30 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scott Samuel officiating. Burial will be in Chickasaw Memorial Gardens. Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two daughters, Bobby Vance (DeArmon) of Batesville and Betty Jo Brown (Ron) of Oxford; one son, Billy Taylor (Lynne) of Houlka; three grandchildren, Clay Vance, Heather Holcombe and Ashley Taylor; and two great-grandchildren, Wyatt Vance and James Vance.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Vistitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service today (March 30) at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to Pearson's Chapel Church of the Nazerene.
