Allean G. Attig, of York, died March 28, 2010. She was the wife of the late Emory C. Attig.

Born March 10, 1911, in Glen Rock, she was a daughter of the late Artis H. and and M. Mae (Mitzel) Bamforth.

Allean was a former Red Cross volunteer at the York County Nursing Home for over 35 years.

She was a member of Advent Lutheran Church where she was a former President of its Friendship Sunday School Class and a former volunteer with the children's choir.

Allean enjoyed bowling for her Sunday School class, crafting, and traveling.

She is survived by a daughter, Jo-Elaine Kralowetz and husband, William of York; son, Barry D. Attig and wife, Lorelei of York; four grandchildren, David Attig, Jeffrey Kralowetz, Elisabeth Ginder, and Brian Kralowetz; 10 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Interment was in Christ Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Shrewsbury.
