In his later years he united with the St. John Baptist Church and was a loyal member until death.
He was retired from thirty years maintenance work in Tuson, Arizona.
His survivors include Tom Odom Jr. and Doris J. Lewis of Houston, Texas, Shelia Odom and Calvis Odom of San Francisco, California; One Sister Earce Lee Hall and one brother-in-law, Lewis Hall of Germany Community, Grapeland, Texas; eight grandchildren and one neice of Los Angeles, California.
